Bestie BBQ Steamboat @ Korea Stone

Annyeong-ha-sae yo~
Come to our last trip, we decided to go for a Steamboat Barbeque buffet at Jalan Ampang.
-Korea Stone BBQ Steamboat-
Korea Stone opens from 6pm to 5am daily
but we reached there around 5:30pm that day.
Therefore, we spent our half an hour on chit-chatting and taking photos.
We were the first customers of the day.
A friendly boss with a team of busy staff were the first impression of us to this restaurant.

Although it is a Korean restaurant, but its decoration is totally Chinese style.
Red table cloth, red chair, landscape painting and lantern.
There are two pots provided on each table.
One is the famous Korea barbeque pot that made by stone
and the another is steamboat that fill up with two types of soups
Thus, we had chosen tomyam and chicken soup.
There are a lot of food choices.
From vegetables to meat, from noodles to seafood!
Besides raw food, they offer several cooked foods!
There are fried rice, fried noodles and shark's fin soup.
Furthermore, they provided fresh prawns and fishes for customers too.
We put the prawns that just scooped up from aquarium to the stone pot
and observe them turned into orange color. It is cool~
You may think we are cruel but the prawns are really fresh and delicious.
Beside that, hot drinks and cold drinks are also provided.
While due to the hot weather and the restaurant is in the open-air, we more preferred cold drinks.
They are orange juice, mango juice, soya bean and sugar cane.
In addition, Korea Stone is also famous in seafood.
Crab, frog, fish and mussel.
But they all need extra payment a
nd their prices are all based on the seasonal price.
After we had done the survey of this restaurant,
we finally went to get our favorite food and cooked them!
There is a traditional ice blender for 'DIY' our own ABC.
Between there are a lot of toppings as you can add in as your flavor.
Finally, we fulfilled the last 5% space of our stomach with fruits and desserts!
About the price, RM27.80 per adult and RM14 per child excluded drinks.
Thus, RM2 is needed for drinks with free refill.

Wasting food is a bad manner.
To avoid it, there is a rule that you will get RM5 extra charges per gram of wasted food.
After we finished our dinner,
we walked along the Korean Street since it is good for our digestion.
Lastly, here come to the ending of the assignment.

Bestie Bak Kut Teh @ Ban Lee

Dai Geh Hoo!
Bak Kut Teh is a type of chinese soup popularly served in Malaysia.
It is typically a famous morning meal among the Hokkien and Teochew people.

Therefore, we decided to go for Bak Kut Teh as our next stop. Through the research we found via internet, we went to Ban Lee Bak Kut Teh Restaurant that located at Jalan Ipoh.

The broth in Bak Kut Teh consists of meaty pork ribs, herbs, spices and it needed to be cook for hours. In addition, Bak Kut Teh is usually served with rice or noodles and cha kueh for dipping in the soup. Besides, the pork ribs are quite juicy and full of herbal taste because it absorbed the soup when it was cooked. Once we bite, the meat quickly melted in our mouth.

Ban Lee Bak Kut Teh Restaurant is popular at Jalan Ipoh, which had been serving for nearly 40 years.
'We never say we are the best, but we always do the best for customer.'
However, the situation outside the restaurant is bad because vehicles are going up and down the road busily. As such, the restaurant is occupied with a little polluted air released by the transports.
You can choose any part of pork based on your flavour.
For example spare rib, belly, loin, fats and lean.
It is always crowded in the restaurant especially during lunch time.
Everyone was focus on eating the delicious pork leg without any random chatting.

We are satisfied the food overall as the food tastes great with no doubt, and serves a reasonable proportion to fill up our stomach. The price is also affordable and fair enough for family and friends to gather for outings. We would highly recommend this restaurant for people searching for delicious Bak Kut Teh.

Bestie Thai @ Fish Farm

Sa-wad-dee-krap!
Departed from Puchong IOI Mall, we set a high expectation on our very first dinner. Hence, we chose Fish Farm Thai Restaurant that located in Ampang for our first post.

Fish Farm has a very beautiful view.
Atap house surrounded by a pond with few fishes.
A small stage for band performance behind us brings up the romantic tinge.
The restaurant used a lot of decorations which made customer felt we are in Thailand. The waiters and waitresses even used Thai language to greet us!
There is a variety of delicacies to choose from the menu, and the best part is the names are in two languages which is English and Chinese.
Fortunately, the foods we ordered came in a short time.
And of course, we enjoyed them with our laughing and sharing.

The first dish was the Thai white rice.
Although it was just a white rice, the container was full of traditional Thai feel.

Coming up was the Barbecue Squid.
It didn't look nice but it tasted marvelouwith the sweet and sour sauce.

After that is the most strongly recommended food which is Pineapple Fried Rice.

Another strongly recommended food is the Tomyam Seafood Soup.
There are prawns, squids, fillet and some onions inside the tomyam soup.
It tasted sour rather than spicy.

The next dish was the Pandan Chicken.
The unique selling point of this dish is the chicken is boneless.

Before the end of our dinner today,
we ordered a small bottle of toddy and shared together.
However, the boys drank more than the girls because girls are weak in alcohol
although the alcohol content is less than 4%.

After we finished our meal,
we got to know more about each others by talking about our past and future.
